These albums are such a blast to make! I just finished Makenzie and Cody's guest book design. I use the amazing Fundy Album Builder to design my layouts in Photoshop and the Fundy Album Proofer to preview the designs online. If you're a photographer looking to streamline your album workflow you've got to check them out!
Here is Makenzie and Cody's custom guest book...one of a kind, just like them!
Lee and I are happy beyond words with the new member of our family. Baby Sydney Leigh was born on May 5th and has brought us nothing but joy. Anyone with children can understand the excitement we feel as we've begun to watch her grow.
It's gonna be a fun ride!
It's hard to know where to begin with these guys. I met Makenzie and Cody for the first time when they picked me up at the hotel in New Orleans. Since they live in NOLA, I've met Makenzie's mom and aunt, but we hadn't met face to face yet. One of the great things about photography is that my work attracts the kind of people I love to work with. I suppose the opposite is also true. It probably repels folks that would be less fun to work with. All I know is that I'm so fortunate to woork with great couple after great couple. Makenzie and Cody are certainly no exception to that.
I had a tough time picking which images to showcase on the blog. There's just so many! June 13th is coming up fast and I can't wait. I know their wedding is going to be amazing.
Special thanks to Lauren for being a great friend to Makenzie and tagging along to help with off camera lighting!
Check out their full gallery HERE.
Now that the dust is settling from coming home with baby Sydney (pictures to come soon) I just finished the design for Kristen and Chris' album. Take a look at the preview below.
It's one of my favorites so far. I can't wait to hear what you guys think. Let me know in the comments.
Brandi and Johnny were so great to work with last fall! Speaking of work, they've both been so busy we're just getting their album approved.
Take a look at the album design here.
Jenna and Jason-
I'm glad you liked the other slide show! Of course you know I had to make you one. Hope the count down to your wedding is going great.
I already posted some images from our shoot in Savannah but I'm having so much fun with Animoto, I wanted to make Julie and Chris a slideshow.
The background music is the amazing The Two Man Gentleman Band. Julie and Chris heard these guys the night they got engaged and hired them to perform at their wedding reception. They are amazing musicians and humorists! Check out their music in iTunes. ![]()
I knew from Danielle and Cory's personality that there wouldn't be a dull moment at their wedding. Two great families coming together for a once in a lifetime celebration with no rocky moments-just genuine celebration.
Danielle and Cory are my kind of people...honest, fun and down to earth. As I sat in their limo grabbing the last shot before they made their way to Puerto Rico, they thanked me. Thanked me...
Danielle and Cory...Thank you for your trust in my ability to capture the biggest day of you life.
I made this slideshow just for you-hope you dig it! Check out your featured gallery on the web site HERE.
Well, I played around with a couple of other web site options for a few months but am back on a BigFolio site. I couldn't be happier. There customer service is as good as ever and the site is rockin'.
I've also switch over my blog completely to a Bigfolio blog and have been using the NextProof online proofing for a couple of months now.
I'm fully entrenched in the BigFolio experience and highly recommend any of you do the same.
Feel free to check out my earlier post on the BigFolio experience here.
Thanks to all of the BigFolio for all of the patience and help on so many little details!
Photography is always such a thrill but is even better when shooting friends. Julie is an old friend and colleague of mine from my days in the Air Force Band. She is an amazing flautist and now lives in Savannah, Georgia. We had fallen out of touch for several years but through the magic of facebook we got back in touch last year. Of course I was excited when she asked me to come to Savannah and photograph her wedding to Chris. I flew down last Thursday and we went to Forsyth Park to make some cool photos. Check 'em out!
Thanks Chris and Julie for such a great time.

Danielle and Cory had their first date over three years ago in the Deep Ellum Arts District in Dallas. Yesterday we created some great engagement images in the same place. Once again, I'm living the dream...I love what I do, and the people I meet. I can't wait until their wedding in June. I know their day will be as individual as they are. Here are my www pics from our session yesterday. Great light and a great time. Thanks guys!

Beautiful weather, a great couple and a mellow photographer. That's what we had Sunday evening. Thanks Jenna and Jason for a great time. Here's a teaser of a few of my favorites from Addison last weekend. I hope you love them!

I always ending up photographing the nicest people. I'm not sure how I get so lucky, but I'm sure not complaining. Michelle and Robert will be married in late May and we shot their engagement session last weekend around White Rock Lake in Dallas. The wind was gusting up near 40, you would have thought we were on the ocean! We timed the light just right and had plenty of time to hit several spots and create some great relaxed photography.
Thanks guys for being so much fun and easy to work with!
